I’m a fan of Pizza Express, tasty food, reasonable prices, nice atmosphere. This is a good location, close to the large car park and just off the high street. I visited here on a Friday at midday with my wife and small kids, we received a warm greeting and were seated quickly. The place was pretty quiet so we got to seat wherever we wanted. There was some sort of deal on as my wife ordered a pizza and a soft drink and it was less than £7, what a bargain. I ordered a pizza but requested the base be changed, when the food arrived it was on the wrong base. No biggy, I was hungry and ate it anyway. It was delicious. Good selection of food and drinks, including a decent non-alcoholic beer. Overall, really happy with the trip, the staff were great with our small kids. If the food order was correct I would have given this place full marks!
Reasonably priced, decent food. Nice atmosphere, and quite busy considering it was a mid-week evening. Service was a little slow, but to be expected considering how busy it was. Food is, as always, very well cooked and presented, the menu choices are good also. With student discount or a taste card, it makes it a very cheap meal!

Delightful and helpful staff. The food is really good although I was there with Thai friends and I think the dishes were not from the main menu.
Tasty. I grabbed a take away from here on a Saturday night. Called around 7pm, food was ready to pick up within 15 minutes. That's a good turnaround for a pay day weekend! When I went to collect the food the rest was packed, a good sign of things to come. The staff were attentive and served me quickly. The order was brought out straight away and everything was as ordered. Usually when we order take aways there are leftovers for the next day. We finished everything, it was all great. Fresh ingredients, freshly prepared with an excellent infusion of flavours. There was even a bit of heat in the curry, but not too much. We ordered 5 dishes in total, all for under £25. Great value, we will be coming back here again no doubt!

A good traditional British Indian restaurant. The Bengal is our traditional pre Christmas curry spot, always good food with pleasant service. The menu is exactly what you would expect with the standard food items and beer. If you're in the area and fancy a good curry, you should head to the Bengal.
Went here it of nostalgia (used to live there 10 years ago). The food was pretty good, but after laboriously discussing my Dairy Intolerance with them, I was presented with a lovely looking curry covered in yogurt :/ To it off with curt, bordering arrogant service from most of the waiters (not all) I won't revisit.. At least not for another ten years :)
